Developed by IAFC Wildland Fire Programs in cooperation with the USDA Forest Service, the course provides practical knowledge for professionals serving communities with wildland-urban interface (WUI) risk.

This course is designed for fire and emergency-response personnel working in communities with wildland-fire or WUI risk. Participants will learn how fire departments can work with residents and community partners to reduce risk and strengthen wildfire preparedness.
